General Carroll N. LeTellier U.S. Army,

July 20, 1928 — March 27, 2019

Major General Carroll N. LeTellier, U.S. Army (Ret.) 90, of Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, March 27th 2019 at home surrounded by his family. The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 2, 2019 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. His funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 3, 2019 in Grace Church Cathedral, 98 Wentworth Street at 2:00 p.m. with a reception to follow service. Interment with military honors will be held at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL.

Born July 20, 1928 in Charleston SC, he was the son of the late Louis Shepherd LeTellier and Vivian Nance LeTellier. He earned his Civil Engineering degree from The Citadel, The Military College of Charleston and his Master of Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He was a member of Grace Cathedral Church.

He is survived by his daughter, Mary C. LeTellier of Charleston, SC. His wife, Frances Melsheimer LeTellier of Vicksburg, Mississippi preceded him in death in 2017. His son, Francis R. LeTellier preceded him in death in 2016, his son Carroll N. LeTellier preceded him in death in 1998, and his daughter Norma Louise LeTellier preceded him in death in 1967.
