Gayle Austin Brown, 80, of Isle Of Palms, South Carolina, wife of Robert "Eddie" Brown entered into eternal rest Wednesday, February 11, 2026. A funeral service and celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Gayle was born September 23, 1945 in Orangeburg, South Carolina, daughter of the late William Daniel Austin and the late Patsy Hines Austin. She was an accountant and administrative assistant, and was known to be an avid animal lover. Gayle was also a member of East Cooper Baptist Church

She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Eddie Brown of Isle of Palms, SC; sister, Marion Cameron of Greenville, SC, Brother, Danny Austin of Waynesville, NC; and her beloved fur babies, Lexi, Bella and Izzy. She was preceded in death her dear daughter, Ansley Brown Hurst.
