Gary Joe Morrison, 85, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Barbara Clifton Morrison entered into eternal rest Sunday, December 27, 2020. His Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, December 30, 2020 in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday in the West Ashley Chapel from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Gary was born September 14, 1935 in Newton, North Carolina, son of the late Joseph Jackson Morrison and Rhetta Irene Bollinger Morrison. He was a former Air Force Veteran and a retired Electronic Missile Systems Inspector for POMFLANT. Gary was a member of Ashley River Baptist Church.
Gary is survived by his wife, Barbara Morrison of Charleston, SC; two sons, Michael Gary Morrison (Mitchelle) of Charleston, SC and Eric Nathan Morrison (Andrea) of Owens Cross Roads, Alabama; daughter, Annisa M. Martin (Todd) of Charleston, SC and two grandchildren, Hannah Martin and Caleb Martin.
He was preceded in death by a son, Matthew Anthony Morrison.
