Gary Lamar Fabian

Entered into eternal rest on the morning of June 30, 2012, Gary Lamar Fabian, husband of Elizabeth "Lib" Ann McLellan Fabian, of Goose Creek, SC. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Gary L. Fabian are invited to attend the funeral services of the former in Northwood Baptist Church Monday, July 2, 2012 at 10:00 a.m.. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, N. Charleston, Sunday between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m.

Mr. Fabian was born April 26, 1942 in Charleston, SC, a son of Marion Fabian and Bertha Dantzler Fabian. He was retired from the Charleston Naval Shipyard as a supply manager and a member of Northwood Baptist Church. Gary was a graduate of Garrett High School and employed by the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center. He was a member of the Hillsdale Civic Club and the Beverley Hills Civic Club.

He is survived by his wife of Goose Creek; two sons, Gary L. Fabian, Jr. (Janice) of Goose Creek and Darren K. Fabian of Washington, DC; a daughter, Wanda F. Jones of North Charleston; four grandchildren, Ashley Fabian, Casey Fabian, Nathan Jones and Nicholas Lingford; three brothers, John Fabian (Anna) of Goose Creek, Edward Fabian (Sharon) of Beaufort, SC and Earl Sikes (Betty) of Cobtown, GA; and two sisters, Faith F. Harris (Norman) of Ladson and Eleanor Mason of Ridgeland, SC.
