Garland Eugene Lankford Jr.

Garland Eugene Lankford Jr., 65, of North Charleston, SC, husband of Gwyn Nettles Lankford entered into eternal rest Wednesday, March 19, 2014. His Funeral Service will be held Saturday, March 22, 2014 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road at 4:00 pm. The family will receive friends Saturday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm in Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel.

Garland was born September 24, 1948 in Blairs, SC, son of Garland Eugene Lankford and Minnie Drew Lankford. He was a US Army veteran and owner of Lankford Plumbing. He attended Cooper River Baptist Church and Holmes Avenue Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Gwyn Lankford of North Charleston, SC, sons, Garland E. Lankford III and G. Clinton Lankford; daughter, Molly Drew L. Martin; brother, Clayton (Rose Marie) Lankford; sisters, Donna (Jim) Boyd and Elaine (Wendell) Fralix; grandchildren: Christopher Lankford, Luke Lankford and Sullivan Martin.
