Gail Clark Brandon

Gail Clark Brandon, 72, wife of the late Thomas L. Brandon, Jr. of Mt. Pleasant, SC passed away on Monday, June 27, 2011.  All Services will be private.  Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL. 

Mrs. Brandon was born on April 24, 1939 in Nashville, Tennessee, daughter of the late Herbert F. Clark and Mary Houghton Clark.  She was a graduate of Vanderbilt University and taught at Jennie Moore Elementary School for almost 30 years. 

She is survived by her daughter, Marty Villafranca of Mt. Pleasant, SC and son, Thomas L. Brandon, III of Lexington, SC; three grandchildren, Thomas Brandon, Conner Brandon, and Ella Gail Villafranca; and one sister, Carol McMillan of California.  She was preceded in death by her husband and two grandchildren, Savannah Brandon and Emily Brandon.

 In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Charleston Animal Society, 2455 Remount Road, North Charleston, SC  29406.
