Frona Elizabeth Gray

Frona Elizabeth Gray, 83, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, April 27, 2016. The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 3, 2016 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL 3360 Glenn McConnell Pkwy from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Frona was born April 26, 1933 in Columbus, Indiana, daughter of the late Clarence F. Davis, Sr. and Sophronia Elizabeth Anderson Davis and was of the Baptist Faith. She was a graduate of Columbia College. Frona served in the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Army. She was a retired Civil Service employee with the Human Resource department of the U.S. Army.

She is survived by her two daughters, Regina Ruth Gray Hunt, and Patricia Louise Gray Pyatt both of Charleston, SC; two brothers, Dwight W. Davis (Katherine), and Herbert Davis (Judy) both of Indiana; four grandchildren, Jennifer Smith (Daniel), Dana Hunt, Ryan Terrell (Casey), Lauren Pyatt, and four great-grandchildren, Matthew Smith, Clara Smith, Lauren Raine Taliaferro, and Tyler Terrell and former husband, Harry S. Gray, Jr. (Laurann).
