Fredreich Paul Holland, 88, of Folly Beach, South Carolina, widower of Virginia Eloise Vaughn Holland entered into eternal rest Saturday, April 15, 2017. His Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, April 19, 2017 Holy City Church, 1300 Fort Johnson Road at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday in Holy City Church from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Downtown Chapel.

Fred was born March 6, 1929 in Columbus, Georgia. He was a graduate of The University of Georgia and was a long time resident of Myrtle Beach, SC where he served in many organizations to include City Council. Fred was the retired founder of Fred Holland Reality, Folly Beach, SC where he also served on the City Council and was a Charter member of Harbor Light Baptist Church.

He is survived by his daughter, Glenda Thrasher of Charleston, SC; two grandsons: Wayne Melton (Debbie) of West Columbia, SC and Steve Melton of Charleston, SC; five great-grandchildren: Richard Melton, Robyn Lord (James), Darren Melton (Alyssa), Kevin Melton and Rebecca Melton; and one great-great-grandchild, Ella Grace Melton.
