Frederick C. Quigley, 78, of North Charleston, SC, widower of Ollie Mae Quigley, passed away Sunday, October 19, 2014. His funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 22, 2014, in First Free Will Baptist Church, 3633 West Montague Avenue, at 3pm. Burial will be private. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL.
Frederick was born October 23, 1935 in Corning, New York, one of nine children of the late Henry Quigley and Marian Nares Quigley. He was a retired security guard for Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital. Frederick was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who served in the Korean War.
He is survived by two daughters, Mary "Bonnie" Y. Gramling (Howard) of Cameron, SC and Barbara Wood (Michael) of Corning, NY; two sons, Myron Quigley of Corning, NY and Patrick Quigley of Rochester, NY; a brother, Henry Quigley; two sisters, Nancy Dahlgren and Peggy Quigley; many grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; precious loving friend, Harry Long; and lots of special friends. He was preceded in death by his siblings: Thomas Quigley, Unice Bennett, Paul Quigley, Johnny Quigley and Norma Quigley.
