Frederick T. Kelsey

Entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of June 17, 2011, Frederick T. Kelsey, husband of Katherine Schwalbe Kelsey.  Residence, Charleston, SC.  A private service will be held in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL Tuesday, June 21, 2011. 

Mr. Kelsey was born April 25, 1927 in East Orange, New Jersey, a son of the late Frederick Kelsey and Joan Skolnik Kelsey.  He was a retired executive investment banker for Goldman Sachs in New York.  Frederick was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran, a graduate of Yale University and a member of Grace Episcopal Church. 

He is survived by his wife of Charleston; two daughters, Christine Kelsey of Chicago, IL and Dr. Linda Kelsey of Fresno, CA; three step-children, Mason Warner of Foster City, CA, Katherine Traver of Bennington, VT and Susan Warner of Fairbanks, AK; seven grandchildren and one great-grandson.  He was predeceased by his son, Jonathan Warner.
