Entered into eternal rest the afternoon of Monday, November 21, 2011, Fred Walker, widower of Alvena Fullwood Walker. Residence, Summerville, South Carolina. The relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service in Music Funeral Home, 1503 Tebeau Avenue, Waycross, GA, Friday, November 25 at 1 pm. Burial will follow in Kettle Creek Cemetery, Waycross, GA. The family will receive friends at J. HENRY STUHR WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, this Wednesday from 5 pm until 7 pm.

Born January 9, 1922 in Bonifay, Florida, Fred was the son of the late William T. Walker and Carrie O'Neill Walker. He was a Heavy Equipment Inspector and retired from the Charleston Naval Shipyard with 19 years of service. He was a member of Charleston Baptist Church.

Survivors include his son: Earl Donald Walker and wife Jackie of Ravenel; daughters: Fredda Jean Clark and her husband Bob of Summerville and Wanda Janell Sanders and her husband Carlton of Martinez, GA; 7 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; . Mr. Walker was preceded in death by his son Charles Joel Walker.
