Frankie Ann Henderson Webb entered into eternal rest on October 18, 2011, Frankie Ann Henderson Webb, widow of Edward Kirk Webb. Residence, Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at the graveside in Live Oak Memorial Gardens Monday, October 24, 2011 at 11:00 am. Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL Sunday between 4:00 and 6:00pm.

Mrs. Webb was born September 30, 1936, in Charleston, SC, the daughter of Benjamin Franklin Henderson and Sarah McMillan Henderson. A graduate of Rivers High School, she attended Newberry College, Mary Washington College and the College of Charleston. She was a member of Chi Omega Sorority, The Charleston Garden Club, the Rivers High Lunch Bunch and a member of St. Philips Episcopal Church. Frankie retired after 28 years of dedicated service from the Charleston Museum as Curator of Historic Houses. During her tenure at the museum under the direction of E. Milby Burton, Frankie received a scholarship to the Attingham Trust to study English country homes and collections in 1969. She and Ned later attended an Attingham Alumni tour in Scotland. Following retirement, Frankie and Ned began a second career as home hosts for Historic Charleston Bed & Breakfast where they enjoyed the company of returning guests for many years. Frankie will forever be remembered as a lifelong student of the 18th century.

She is survived by two daughters: Margaret W. Axson (Keith) of Columbia, SC and Virginia W. Harrison (Lane) of Marietta, GA; four grandchildren: Sarah McMillan Axson, William Keith Axson, William Hampton Harrison and Caroline Kirk Harrison.

Memorials may be made to St. Philip's Episcopal Church, 142 Church Street, Charleston, SC or to a charity of one's choice.
