Frankie Kirkland Miller, 90, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Edmund M. Miller, Jr., entered into eternal rest Monday, December 10, 2012. A graveside service will be held Thursday, December 13, 2012 in the Live Oak Memorial Gardens, 3093 Ashley River Road at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00 until 7:00 pm in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway.

Frankie was born March 16, 1922 in Augusta, Georgia, daughter of the late Frank Kirkland and Edna Baldowski Kirkland. She was a retired nurse with the Medical University of South Carolina and was a member of Holy Spirit Lutheran Church.She is survived by her two sons Raymond K. Miller of Charleston, SC and Edmund M. Miller III (Natasha Wetmore) of Palo Alto, California; a grandson, James Miller (Beverly); and three great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Colby and Miranda.
