Frank J. Wolfgang, 70, of Beaufort, South Carolina, husband of Merle Smith Wolfgang died Tuesday, February 19, 2013. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Frank was born September 16, 1942 in Cleveland, Ohio, son of Elmer John Wolfgang and Josephine Zorich Wolfgang. He served as a Corpsman in the United States Navy 1965-1969 and was a Vietnam Veteran. He graduated from San Diego State University with a bachelors degree in accounting. His business career included, CFO of the Sony Corporation, Dothan, Alabama and San Diego, California; CFO of Ricoh Corporation, Irvine, California and Lawrenceville, Georgia and CFO of CPG Pepsi Corporation, Atlanta, Georgia.

He is survived by his wife of Beaufort, SC; daughter, Dr. Courtnie Wolfgang of Columbia, SC; son, Jeffrey Wolfgang of Duluth, GA; sister, Linda Houston of MS; brother, John Wolfgang of CA; sister, Bonita Harred of CA and sister, JoMarie Wolfgang of PA..
