Frank Walker Tuten

Frank Walker Tuten, 91, of North Charleston, South Carolina, went to be with his LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday, November 18, 2023. His Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, November 29, 2023 in the Ashley River Baptist Church at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Riverview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel.

Frank was born April 19, 1932 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late William Walter Tuten, Sr. and Oree Freeman Tuten. He was an army veteran and served as a career civil servant at the Charleston Naval Shipyard, retiring as the General Foreman of Electronics, Shop 67. Frank was a former member of Brentwood Baptist Church and was an active member of Ashley River Baptist Church where he served in many different capacities.

He is survived by two daughters, Kathi Hill and Lyn Saylor, both of Lexington, SC; son, Chip Tuten, of WV; and 3 grandsons, Britt Saylor, Trey and Sean Lent; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by seven siblings; his wife, Patsy Tuten; and son, Patrick Tuten.
