Frank George Sanchez, 71, of Moncks Corner, South Carolina, husband of Kathryn Dukes Sanchez died Wednesday, May 15, 2013. The relatives and friends of Frank Sanchez are invited to attend his Funeral Service at the graveside on Saturday, May 18, 2013 in Hopewell Baptist Churchyard, Steed Creek Road, off Hwy. 41, Huger, SC at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 18, 2013 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm.
Frank was born on February 27, 1942 in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, son of the late Frank John Sanchez and the late Nevelin Mitchum Sanchez. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and worked in the steel fabrication industry as a welder. Frank was a former member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Huger and loved to spend time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Sanchez of Moncks Corner; SC, one daughter, Annette S. Biering and her husband, John, of Summerville, SC; three sons, George Steven Sanchez and his wife, Karen, of Jedburg, SC, Frank Eugene Sanchez and his wife, Amy, of Moncks Corner, SC, and Jonathan William Sanchez and his wife, Margaret, of Greeleyville, SC; eleven grandchildren, Griffin, Wade, Michael, Thera, Anais, Katie, Aurora, Melody, Gideon, Brandon, David, Samantha and Christopher; one great grandchild, Xavier and one sister, Mary (Gary) McBroom of Moncks Corner, SC. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Frances and Linda and two brothers, Joseph and Terry.
