Frank H. Roeber, 85, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Lorraine "Lee" Roeber, entered into eternal rest Thursday, February 4, 2016. His Funeral Service will be held Saturday, February 6, 2016 in Bethel United Methodist Church, 57 Pitt Street at 2:30 p.m. Interment, Magnolia Cemetery. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel.
Frank was born May 29, 1930 in New Albin, Iowa, son of the late George Roeber and Anna Gerborsky Roeber. He served in the United States Army during World War II and the Korean War. Frank was a retired design engineer, Model A Ford enthusiast, Red Sox fan, and dachshund lover. He was devoted to traveling the world with his wife.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Lee Roeber of Charleston, SC; daughter, Debbie J. Castellone (David) of Charleston, SC; son, Walter J. Roeber (Nancy) of Alexandria, VA; three grandchildren, Amanda Beth Castellone of Charleston, SC, Reid D. Castellone of Greenwood, SC, and Chelsea N. Riddle of Greenwood, SC; brother, Alfred Roeber of Newark, Texas; and sister, Marylou Vlakancic (Nikola) of Valley Stream, NY.
