Francis Augustus Wayne, Jr., 87, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, husband of Lois Miller Wayne passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2014. His Funeral Service will be held at the graveside in Christ Church Cemetery on Monday, June 16, 2014 at 3:00 PM. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.
Francis was born October 30, 1926 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late Francis Augustus Wayne, Sr. and Mary Kolb Fischer Wayne. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served during World War II, and was a retired Personnel Officer with the State Ports Authority. A Mason, Francis was a member of Christ Church in Mt. Pleasant, SC.
He is survived by his wife, his son, nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
