Francis "Frank" Stephen Lewandowski, 62, of Hanahan, SC, husband of Peggy Ann Budsock Lewandowski died Sunday, July 21, 2013. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, July 25, 2013 in Divine Redeemer Catholic Church, at 10:00 am. Prayers of Final Commendation and Farewell will be held at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 24, 2013 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road where a Rosary Service will be conducted at 7:00 pm.

Frank Lewandowski was born June 15, 1951 in Newark, NJ, son of Francis Lewandowski and Anne Kowalski Lewandowski. Frank was a retired Sheriff's Officer with the Middlesex County Sheriff's Department and was employed in Charleston for the Sheraton Hotel on Goer Drive in transportation services. He was a graduate of Kean University, a member of the Police Benevolent Association member and also a member of Divine Redeemer Catholic Church. Frank enjoyed the Carolina Gamecocks, dining in Downtown Charleston, the New York Giants and was a "happy go lucky guy" who always loved a good joke. He was a very devoted, loving husband and father.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Peggy Ann Lewandowski of Hanahan, SC; son, Justin Lewandowski of Columbia, SC; parents, Francis and Anne Lewandowski of Carteret, NJ; sister, Katherine Schodowski of Carteret, NJ.
