Frances Gaddis Weeks

Frances Virginia Gaddis Weeks, 96, currently of Clemson Downs Nursing Home, Clemson, SC and previously of Charleston, SC entered into eternal rest on December 6, 2020. Her graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, December 10, 2020. Interment will take place at Weeks Tiverton Cemetery on Highway 52 North of Moncks Corner. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.

Frances was the widow of Robert James Weeks Jr. Their marriage of 65 years was concluded with Robert's death in 2013.Frances was born April 27, 1924 in Ware Shoals, SC, daughter of Joseph Ralph Gaddis and Ida Launa Gaddis.

She attended Ware Shoals High School.Frances was a key punch operator at the Naval Shipyard in Panama City, Florida as well as in Charlotte, NC.Frances was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Faith Circle located at 1601 Sam Rittenberg Blvd., Charleston, SC.

Frances is survived by her daughter, Nancy Joe Weeks Foster and her husband, William Foster of Clemson, SC; a granddaughter Jocassee Foster-Reid and her husband, Chris Reid of Clemson, SC; two nephews, Rev. Patrick Mahin and Michael Mahin of MN; two sisters-in-law, Patricia Weeks Motte and Charlotte Weeks both of Charleston, SC. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Carrie Mahin.
