SC. The relatives and friends of Frances Blalock Horres are invited to attend her funeral services, Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Church of the Holy Communion.  Interment, Magnolia Cemetery.  Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL, Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

            Frances was born July 14, 1927 in Charleston, SC, the daughter of Augustus Jerome Blalock and Ida Welling Blalock.  She was a graduate of the College of Charleston and a retired accountant with Tidewater Transportation.  She was a member of the Church of the Holy Communion, a member of Rebecca Motte Chapter D.A.R., First Families of South Carolina and the Huguenot Society of South Carolina.

            She is survived by three daughters: Nancy H. (Dusty) Rhoades of Charleston, SC, Lynn H. (Hudson) Rogers of Charleston, SC, and Betsy H. (Jimmy) Stokes of Wando, SC; one son: Dr. E. Glenn (Sylvia) Horres, Jr. of Folly Beach, SC; ten grandchildren: Michelle, Erin, Matthew, Hudson, Alex, Owen, Shaun, Ashley, Emily, and Caroline; and two great grandchildren: Anna and Madeline. 

            Memorials may be made to the Church of the Holy Communion, 218 Ashley Avenue, Charleston, SC 29403.
