Frances Rose Heins-Showalter

Frances Rose Heins-Showalter, 88, a beloved mother, cherished friend, and consummate storyteller passed away March 30, 2024.

Fran was born February 7, 1936 to the late Robert and Alethia Morris in Philadelphia, Pa. She graduated from Media High School in 1953. She moved to Charleston, SC and worked at the Naval Hospital for 29 years. Fran had many interests, but her favorite was traveling with Harold, her soul mate, and faithful girlfriends who always had her back. She loved Las Vegas, NV and Bristol, TN. Other interests included reading, painting, and creative writing and wine tasting.

She is preceded in death by her son Donald L. Heins, Jr. She is survived by daughter Lisa Heins Robinson and son-in-law Robert Robinson.

A celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Mt. Pleasant Chapel.
