Frances "Fran" Heinsohn Lyons

Frances Heinsohn Lyons, 85, of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of William Marion Lyons, Sr. passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2013. A Memorial Celebration will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, December 28, 2013 in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road.
Fran was born in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late Frank and Lottie Heinsohn. She received a BA. Degree from the College of Charleston.
She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, William M. Lyons, Sr. She and her husband lived for 35 years in Danville, VA before retiring to Mt. Pleasant. Fran is also survived by her daughter, Jan Lyons of Oak Ridge, Tennessee; her son, Marty Lyons and his wife, Fran of Marietta, Georgia; her grandchildren, Blair and Joey Lyons; her brother, Frank Heinsohn, Jr. and his wife, Peggy; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Theodora Heinsohn Warner Miller.
