Frances Karen Ford, 73, of Hollywood, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, February 4, 2026. The family will receive friends Sunday, February 8, 2026, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel.

Frances was born January 16, 1953 in Charleston, South Carolina, wife of the late Willis B. Ford. She was a teacher, a role she carried with dedication and quiet purpose. Through her work, she touched the lives of countless students, offering guidance, patience, and knowledge that extended far beyond the classroom. 

She is survived by her daughter, Michele Ford (Phillip Goodale) of Ravenel, SC and her son, Willis Ford Jr (Alyssa) of Johns Island, SC; grandchildren Phillip Goodale, Jr (Katelyn), Triton B. Goodale, Kaylee Bibler (Preston), Katie Amos (Alex) and Zack Zabel.

The family wishes to thank her friend Beverly Christ and Camren Brinson who provided Frances with compassion and comfort throughout her illness.
