Frances Julia Harris Cloninger

Frances Julia Harris Cloninger, 93, of Johns Island, SC, wife of Calvin Setzer Cloninger, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, May 24, 2022. Her funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Grace Church Cathedral at 11:00 am. Burial will take place at a later date in Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Claremont, NC. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel.

Frances was born December 23, 1928 in Chattanooga, Tennessee, daughter of the late Ray Jenkins Harris and Julia Mae Ferguson.

In addition to her husband of 64 years, she is survived by her children, Dr. Gayle Cloninger Fellers (Henry) of Johns Island, SC, Calvin Gregory Cloninger (Michelle) of Wilmington, NC, and Sherry Kahney of Wilmington, NC; 6 grandchildren, Julia F. Green, Brenda Hunt, Neal Larson, Justin Kahney, Miles Cloninger, and Abigail Cloninger; and 7 great-grandchildren, Hank, Harrison, Benji, Katlyn, Michael, Colton, and Lucas.

Memorial donations may be made in lieu of flowers in Frances' honor to Low Country Food Bank or Barrier Islands Free Medical Clinic.
