Entered into eternal rest on the evening of April 16, 2012, Frances Hudson Brigman, wife of Charles Lee Brigman. Residence, James Island, SC. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lee Brigman are invited to attend the funeral services of the latter, Friday, April 20, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Matthew's Lutheran Church. Interment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL Thursday between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m.

Mrs. Brigman was born August 20, 1938 in Charleston, SC, the daughter of Wendell Hudson and Fay Breland Hudson. She was a graduate of St. Andrew's Parish High School and retired as a secretary with Grice Marine Laboratory of the College of Charleston.

She is survived by her husband of fifty years of James Island, SC; two daughters: Brenda M. Brigman of James Island, SC and Beverly Brigman Kline (Spike) of James Island, SC; two grandchildren: Hudson William Kline and Mary Frances Kline; two sisters: Betty H. Douty of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Clarice H. Edwards of Orangeburg, SC. She is predeceased by her brother Tommy Hudson.
