Frampton Franklin Clayton Shumpert

Frampton Franklin Clayton Shumpert, 79, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Janice Elizabeth Pearce Shumpert entered into eternal life Wednesday, April 11, 2018. His Funeral Service will be held Sunday, April 15, 2018 in Charleston Baptist Church, 13 San Miguel at 3:00 p.m. The family will receive friends in the Church from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL.

Frampton was born May 31, 1938 in Lexington County, SC, son of the late Arthur Pickens Shumpert and Annie Poole Shumpert. He was a retired manufacturing Plant manager. Frampton loved spending time with his family, they were his life. He was genuinely loved and will be truly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Janice Elizabeth Shumpert of Charleston, SC; son, Brian Shumpert of Charleston, SC, daughter, Karen Shumpert Polk (Mark) of Charleston, SC; son, Darren Shumpert of Johns Island, SC; sister, Donnell Crocker of Summerville, SC; brother, George Shumpert of Charleston, SC; eight grandchildren, Amanda, Clayton, Katie, Brittany, Evan, Savannah, Summer, Jenny; and twelve great-grandchildren.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to a Children's charity of one's choice.
