Forde Anderson McIver

Forde "Andy" Anderson McIver, Jr., 61, of Ravenel, SC, husband of Ivy Kirkland McIver entered into eternal rest Tuesday, November 4, 2014. His Funeral Service will be held Thursday, November 6, 2014 in Christ-St. Paul's Church, 4981 Chapel Road at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow in Christ-St. Paul's Parish Churchyard. The family will receive friends Wednesday in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Andy was born October 26, 1953 in Charleston, SC, son of the late Dr. Forde Anderson McIver and Ruth Huegel McIver. He graduated from Carlisle Military Academy and attended the Baptist College at Charleston. He thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors and took great interest in South Carolina's natural resources. Andy was also a member of Christ-St.Paul's Parish Church and was retired from Gregory Poole Equipment Company.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years , Ivy McIver of Ravenel, SC; son, Forde A. "Trey" McIver, III of Seneca, SC; sister, Miriam M Delamar (James) of Charleston, SC; brother, Herbert Todd "Hub" McIver (Toni) of Hardeeville, SC; grandson, Forde Reily McIver of Seneca, SC, and several nieces and nephews.
