Floyd Wayne Ahl, Sr., 82, of North Charleston, SC, husband of Joyce Ann Laney Ahl entered into eternal rest Monday, December 6, 2021. His Funeral Service will be held Thursday, December 9, 2021 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Riverview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Floyd was born June 3, 1939 in Allendale, SC, son of the late Mary L Clayton. He was a Instrument Tech at Westvaco where he worked for 44 years. He enjoyed refinishing furniture, reading his Bible and yard work.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Ahl of North Charleston, SC; two sons, Kevin Ahl (Mary Frances) of North Charleston, SC and Wayne Ahl (Kimberly) of Moncks Corner, SC; brother, Leewell Clayton of Wassamassaw, SC; two sisters, Dinah Chiavaro of Goose Creek, SC and Libby Strukeley of New Hope, SC; five grandchildren: Kirsten Burbage (Will), Ashley Nuzum (Michael), Brooks Ahl (Kimberly), Cody Ahl and Kara Ahl; four great-grandchildren: Sadie Nuzum, Parker Nuzum, Leighton Ahl and Walker Ahl.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Archie Ahl and sisters, Gloria Rutherford and Sandy Dougherty.
