Florine "Flo" Forbes DeVeer, 70, of North Charleston, South Carolina, wife of Clinton Hazzard died Friday, November 17, 2017. Her Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 13, 2018, in Grace Church Cathedral, 98 Wentworth Street at 1:00 pm. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel.
Flo was born November 18, 1946 in Alberta, Canada, daughter of the late Frank Forbes and the late Nellie Moon Forbes. She was a Book Seller and author.
She is survived by her husband, Clinton Hazzard; sisters: Fran Lackie, Rose Davis, Donna Foley, Brenda Forbes, Beverley Forbes, and Sherry Findlay; many nieces; nephews; several great-nieces and nephews; several great-grandnieces and nephews; and long time family of choice, George (Eddie) Hearne.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Lillian Emmott and Betty Krause.
Memorials may be made to Grace Church Cathedral, 98 Wentworth Street, Charleston, SC 29401.
