Florence K. Thurley Florence Kirsch Thurley, 95, of Sarasota, Florida, formerly of Summerville, SC, widow of Cyril Thurley, went to heaven Wednesday, August 14, 2013. Her graveside service will be held Saturday, August 17, 2013 in Riverview Memorial Park, 3715 Azalea Drive, at 11:30 am. The family will receive friends Saturday, August 17 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am.

Florence was born December 15, 1917 in Bamberg, SC, the daughter of Alvin Hugo Kirsch and Marion Beckham Kirsch. She was a Sales Associate in the fabric industry. She is survived by her three daughters: Nina Carolyn Huguley, Teena Lee, and Bett Brown; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and her sister, Ruth Demerest. She was preceded in death by her son, Charles Christopher Lamb III.
