Florence "Dale" Moody Clifton

Florence Dale Moody Clifton , 87, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Frazier Clifton entered into eternal rest Thursday, April 19, 2018. Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, April 21, 2018 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 12:00 Noon. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens.

Dale was born March 1, 1931 in Charleston, SC, daughter of the late James Fred Moody and Elizabeth Holleman Moody. She was a member and Sunday School Teacher at John Wesley Methodist Church. Florence loved her family and country cooking.

She is survived by her two sons, Frazier Wayne Clifton of Moncks Corner, SC, and Gordon Clifton (Beth) of Charleston, SC; two daughters, Pamela Whitson (William) of Charleston, SC, and Robin Rooke (Horace) of Folly Beach, SC; nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.The family would like to thank Pamela Williams from Roper Hospice for her love and care.
