Florence Elizabeth "Cis" Carroll, 70, of Mount Pleasant died Sunday, June 16, 2013. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, June 18, 2013 in St. Paul's Church, 316 West Carolina Avenue, Summerville, SC at 2:00 pm, Interment, St. Paul's Churchyard. The family will receive friends Monday, June 17, 2013 in the J. HENRY STUHR MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.

Cis was born July 13, 1942 in Summerville, SC, daughter of the late Ephraim Mikell Carroll and Florence Jahnz Carroll O'ertel. A graduate of Moultrie High School and Palmer Business College, she was employed as an administrative assistant at the Medical University of South Carolina. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to many. She dearly loved her family, animals, nature and gardening. She was a member of Holy Cross Episcopal Church.

She is survived by her son, John Mikell Young and his wife Cindy, her granddaughter Savanna Katherine Young, all of Waxhaw, NC; and her brother Ephraim Mikell "Mike" Carroll and his wife Elizabeth Cave Carroll of Sullivan's Island, SC. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Anne Carroll Miley.
