Flo Breibart has lost her longtime battle with Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinsons. Though the disease stole both her mind and her body, it could never destroy her charm and warmth. Even when she no longer remembered us, she always greeted us warmly-and every stranger was welcome in her small room.

Please remember Flo as you knew her-as a friend, relative, or co-worker. She was sweet and warm, and the best friend anyone could have.

Flo was born in Boston on July 14, 1941. A teacher by profession, she found her greatest love in working with senior citizens. She especially enjoyed her activities positions at retirement homes in Greensboro, NC, and at Bishop Gadsden.

Flo is survived by her husband, Barry Breibart; her daughter, Heather (Bill) Melton of Adams Run; and her grandsons, Luke and Logan.

The family wishes to thank the caregivers at Ashley River Healthcare and Crescent Hospice, as well as Flo's special care-friend, Leslie Poteat, for the attention they gave her throughout her illness.

Flo's favorite charity was St. Jude. Donations may be made to St. Jude in her memory.
