Flene Jaynette Taylor

Entered into eternal rest on Thursday, November 25, 2010, Flene J. Taylor, wife of Douglas Taylor.  Residence, N. Charleston, South Carolina.  Memorial services for Flene J. Taylor will be announced at a later date. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL.

Mrs. Taylor was born on May 5, 1948 in Morgantown, WV, daughter of the late Wesley Carr and the late Dorothy Covert Carr.  She graduated from Kent State with a Bachelor of Science degree. Flene was active in Boy Scouts and the Girl Scouts, and she also sponsored teams at the YMCA. She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Summerville, SC.

Surviving are her husband Douglas of Charleston, SC; sons, Wilson Taylor of Summerville, SC, Matthew Taylor of Anchorage, Alaska; daughter, Jaynette West of N. Charleston, SC, brother; Tim Carr of California, sister; Peggy Klein of Malvern, Ohio, three grandchildren: Stephen, Zachary and Camron.
