Mrs. Lindsay was born April 4, 1922, in St. Matthews, South Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Conrad W. Crider and Mamie Huffman Crider. A member of New Beginnings Community Church, Faye was loved by all who knew her. Her neighbors all enjoyed seeing her in her yard working and raking her leaves. She lived there until she was ninety-one years old. She was very active in her church and enjoyed trips with her friends to different parts of the country when she was younger. Faye also enjoyed cross stitching and was an avid reader. Her early morning walks with her walking group when she was younger, that is in her 80's, was also one of her favorite things to do. She was the kid in the group. She will be dearly and sincerely missed and remembered with love and admiration by her friends and family.

Faye is survived by her children, Barbara Epstein and her husband, Mark of Mt. Pleasant, SC; Patricia Timmons and her husband, Gorden of Ridgeville, SC; and Martin Lindsay of Charleston, SC; her sisters, Mae Wilson of Columbia, SC and Lucille Ezekiel of St. Matthews, SC; her grandchildren, Mandy Timmons of Mt. Pleasant, SC; Amy Mahoney and her husband, Brian of Mt. Pleasant, SC; Matt Brock and his wife, Ann of Prarieville, LA; and Lindsay Boger and her husband, Tommy of Mt.
