Farahangis "Farah" Borhanian Farahvashi

Farahangis “Farah” Borhanian Farahvashi entered into eternal rest on May 30th, 2023 at her home in Meggett, South Carolina. She was 96. Born on August 2nd, 1926 in Mashad, Iran, Daughter of Rooholah and Navabeh Borhani, she is survived by her children: Daughter Shahrzad (Sherri) Nester and husband Calvin of Meggett, Son Shahriar Farahvashi and wife Sonya of Edisto Island, Son Ramin Farahvashi of Charleston, Her 6 Grand Children: Evelyn and Calvin Nester Jr, Aria and Ella Farahvashi, Highland and Paloma Farahvashi, five great grandchildren Derek, Morgan, Ryan, Miranda, Ashton, and one great great grandchild Dominic.

Farah was preceded by the death of her Husband Iraj Farahvashi and her four siblings: Roohi Borhani Nafahati, Hooshang Borhanian, Mehri Borhanian, and Khosro Borhanian.

A Funeral Service will be held Saturday Jun 3rd, at 1:00 PM at J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glen McConnell PKWY., Charleston, South Carolina followed by burial at the Christ St Paul’s Cemetery, 4981 Chapel Road, Hollywood, SC. Following the burial, Friends of Farah and Family are welcomed to a Commemorative Gathering at the Nester Residence at 4770 Summit Plantation Road, Meggett, South Carolina.
