Falbie Wilson Farley

Falbie Farley 99, went to meet her Lord and Savior on the evening of Thursday, February 16, 2017 at home in North Charleston. Her funeral service will be held Monday, February 20, 2017 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm in Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel.

Falbie was born October 24, 1917 in a two room log cabin in Dale County, AL. Her mother, the late Maggie King Wilson, died a year after she was born; Falbie was reared by her father, the late William Oliver Wilson and stepmother, the late Florence Wilson. She was a longtime member of Ferndale Baptist Church. She attended Northwood Assembly with her son. Mrs. Farley was the widow of Thurman C. Farley, to whom she was married for 49 years.

She is survived by three sons: Francis C. Farley, Sr. (Donna), James E. Farley Sr, (Toni) and H. Michael Farley; seven grandchildren: Francis Farley, Jr. (Gwynn), Johnnie Farley, James E. Farley, Jr. (Jen), Billy Farley (Michelle), Robbie Farley, Lonnie Mundis (Itzela), Lori Roy (Bob); ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thurman Farley and three grandchildren.
