Dr. Faina Gerasun Khodak, 88, of Summerville, South Carolina, widow of Boris Khodak entered into eternal rest Sunday, February 28, 2016.
Her funeral service will be held graveside Thursday, March 3, 2016 in Emanu-El Cemetery (Maryville) at 4:00 p.m. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Downtown Chapel.
Faina was born May 26, 1927 in Kiev, Ukraine, daughter of the late Alexander Gerasun and Eva Rabinovich Gerasun. She was a retired Pediatrician and a member of Synagogue Emanu-El.
Faina is survived by two daughters: Irina Gurovich and Slava Khodak-Gelman; three grandsons: Evgeni Gurovich, Egor Gurovich and Anton Gelman; granddaughter, Ellaine Gelman; and two great-grandchildren: Lev Gurovich and Miriam Abigail Gurovich.
Memorials may be made to Synagogue Emanu-El, 5 Windsor Drive, Charleston, SC 29407.
