F. Thomas Witcher, 81, of Ravenel, South Carolina, husband of Patricia Grooms Witcher, entered into eternal rest Monday, August 31, 2026.

The family will receive friends Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway.

Thomas was born May 11, 1945, in Dallas, Georgia, son of the late William Lee Witcher and Elsie Head Rose.

Thomas was a proud United States Marine, devoted Christian, loving husband, and dedicated family man. He worked as a contractor and took great pride in building hotels and other structures. He was an antique enthusiast who appreciated history and craftsmanship and enjoyed tinkering with knives and working with his hands.

Thomas was a true fighter who faced life’s challenges with incredible strength and determination. He never quit. His faith in God, love for his family, and strong spirit will remain his greatest legacy.

In addition to his wife, Patricia Grooms Witcher, he is survived by his sons, T. Kyle Witcher (Tanya), Robert D. Zetrouer (Corrie Ann); Brothers, Joseph and Edwin; Grandchildren, Olivia, Benjamin, Matthew, Courtney, Joshua, Richard, Taylor, Danielle (Aaron), Justin, Caroline; and eleven great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Gray, David Witcher, Tresia Carroll; his daughters, Angie Cleeve and Debbie Feller.

Memorials may be made to Ralph H. Johnson VA Hospital.
