Evelyn Abrahams Goldstein, 92, of Charleston, SC, widow of Ralph Carlisle Goldstein, died Saturday, August 9, 2014. Her graveside funeral service will be held Sunday, August 10, 2014, in Brith Sholom Beth Israel Cemetery "Maryville", Sycamore Avenue, at 3:00 pm. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL.
Evelyn was born June 15, 1922 in Wildwood, New Jersey, a daughter of the late Henry George Abrahams and the late Sylvia Solomon Abrahams. She was a member of Brith Sholom Beth Israel Synagogue and Hadassah.
She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Thomas (Ernest) of Charleston; her son, Bruce Goldstein of Washington, DC; a sister, Beverly Kellman of Boynton Beach, FL; five grandchildren: Jonathan, Michael, Karen, Beth and Lauren; and six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
