Evelyn Frierson Dove, 82, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at Hallmark Nursing Facility. Her graveside service will be held Friday, February 26, 2016 at 11:00 am at Bethany Cemetery in Charleston. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel.

Evelyn was born in Sumter, SC, daughter of the late Sam H. and the late Lottie M. Frierson. Evelyn attended Charleston High School and was employed for many years at Francis Marion Hotel as switchboard operator and office manager. Later in life she helped with the senior citizens in Dorchester County.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Junior D. Dove; son, Tyrone Dove; sisters, Lillian Frierson Harlan and Georgia Frierson Reeves and brother-in-law, Legare Reeves; brother, Sam H. Frierson, Jr.; and brother-in-law, Robert Wright.

She is survived by a sister, Joyce Frierson Wright of Goose Creek, SC; sister-in-law, Margie Frierson of Lexington; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
