Evelyn Scott Cannady, 89, of Moncks Corner, SC, died Saturday, January 3, 2015. Her funeral service will be held Thursday, January 8, 2015 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel., 2180 Greenridge Road at 2:00 pm. Entombment, Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday at Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel from 1:00 pm until the time of the service.

Evelyn was born October 26, 1925 in Charleston, SC, daughter of the late Theodore Scott and the late Mae Thackery Scott. She was a member of the Church of The Good Shepherd.

She is survived by her son, Frank William Gregory Cannady and his wife Sally of Moncks Corner, SC; daughter, Carol Bezek of Portsmouth, VA; two sisters, Catherine LaFong of James Island, SC and Patsy Hoard of Columbia, SC; brother, Theodore Scott of Lexington, SC; seven grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Watson Cannady and a son, John R. Cannady.
