Evelyn Warrick Arnold

Mary Evelyn Warrick Arnold, 76, wife of William Clayton Arnold, of Charleston, SC passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2011.  The Funeral Service for Evelyn Arnold will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mt. Pleasant Chapel. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road, Mt. Pleasant, SC, on Wednesday evening, January 12, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Mary Evelyn Warrick Arnold was born on January 17, 1934 in Crenshaw County, AL.  She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Cora Alma Williamson Warrick.  Evelyn was a devoted and active member of Unity Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant, SC. Mrs. Arnold is survived by her husband of 55 years, William Clayton Arnold; her daughter, Patricia D. Distler of Charleston, SC; her sons, Kenneth C. Arnold of Clemson, SC, and William T. Arnold and Larry O. Arnold, both of Charleston, SC; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by her brother, Morgan Warrick of Brantley, AL.
