Eva Mae Wiggins

Eva Mae "Mama" Wiggins, 83, wife of the late Melvin Gordon Wiggins, of Mt. Pleasant, SC, passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2010.  The relatives and friends of Eva Mae Wiggins are invited to attend her Funeral Service on Sunday, July 18, 2010 in East Cooper Freewill Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 17, 2010 in J HENRY STUHR MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. "Mama's" home will be open to friends and family following the services on Sunday. "Mama" was born May 5, 1927 in Sumter, South Carolina.  She was the daughter of the late Walter Morgan Browder and Evelyn Browder Bradham. She worked with her daughter in childcare and was a member of East Cooper Freewill Baptist Church, formerly East Cooper Holiness Church. She is survived by her daughter, Teresa D. Cobia of Mt. Pleasant, SC; three grandchildren, Tammie Cobia Jones, Tara Cobia Gusler and Gordon Kevin Wiggins; six great grandchildren, Thomas, Tyler, Justin, Braeden, Giles and Harrison. She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth "Fox" Wiggins and a brother, Franklin D. Bradham. The family requests that memorials be made to the Odyssey Healthcare of Charleston, 5965 Core Road, Suite 603, North Charleston, SC  29406.
