Eva P. Thweatt

Eva P. Thweatt, 90, wife of the late Samuel Olive Thweatt, of Mt. Pleasant, SC passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2011.  The relatives and friends of Eva Thweatt are invited to attend her Graveside Service in Wilson Cemetery, Awendaw, SC on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at 11:00 am.  The family will receive friends at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., Mount Pleasant Chapel on Tuesday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.  

Mrs. Thweatt was born April 16, 1921 in Bonneau, SC, daughter of the late George Edward Player and Eliza Mozelle Cumbee.   She was a member of the Ocean Grove United Methodist Church. 

She is survived by her daughter, Martina T. Yearwood (John); son, Dean O. Thweatt  (Cynthia); grandchildren, Candace Y. Leaird (David) and Marie, Tara, and Cameron Thweatt; great-grandchild, Payton Leaird; sisters, Georgette P. Wilson of Awendaw, SC, Bonnie P. Hendrick of Conway, SC and Aileen P. Newkirk (Charles) of Marshalsburg, NC; brother, Daniel Edward Player  (Helen) of Saluda, SC.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Olive Thweatt and her parents.
