Eva Mary Singleton, 72, of Hendersonville, TN, formerly of North Charleston, died Sunday, July 31, 2016. Her funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 3, 2016 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday with a Rosary Service at 5:30 and visitation from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel.

Eva was born October 29, 1943 in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, daughter of the late William Montena and the late Dolores Lopez Montena. She was a retired registered nurse and a former member of Divine Redeemer Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Raymond H. Singleton, Jr. of Hendersonville, TN; daughter, Sherri Singleton Hill (Charles) of Hendersonville, TN; son, Daniel K. Singleton (Lisa) of Goose Creek, SC; grandchildren, Lauren Singleton, Whitney Singleton, Ryan Hill and Adam Hill (Amanda); great-grandchildren, Trae and Eva Hill; sisters: Margie Horsham, Maria Russell (Tom) and Jackie Straub (Gary). She was preceded in death by her brother, William Montena, Jr.
