Eva Collins Klink, 77, of Summerville, South Carolina, wife of William "Bill" Klink entered into eternal rest Sunday, October 6, 2013. Her funeral service will be held Wednesday October 9, 2013 in the Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church (Trolley Road), at 1:00 PM. Interment will be at Live Oak Cemetery, Walterboro, SC. The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 8, 2013 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.
Eva was born October 11, 1935 in Charleston, SC, to the late Eva Laurey and William Christensen. She was a graduate of Rivers High School in 1952, attended Rice Business College and earning her certificate's in many Insurance and Financial Institution courses. After many years as a stay-at-home mother Eva began her work career as a Welcome Wagon hostess, she then continued her career of 13 years with Financial Institutions as Loan service manager, she also spent 10 and half years with the Cooper River Federal savings & loan, this was the most satisfying and enjoyable job of all. Her career ended with 14 years was a Civil servant with the Dept of Defense retiring in 2002.
She is survived by her son, Harry L. (Lindy) Collins of St. George, SC; granddaughter April Joy (Jay) Jackson and two newly acquired twin Great-grandchildren Marisa and Miranda Jenkins of West, CO; grandson John David Collins (Caroline) and newborn great-granddaughter Sarah Elizabeth Collins of Williamsport, TN, and grandson Michael Stephen Collins of Nashville, TN. She is predeceased by daughter Debbie Comstock; two sisters Wilma Christensen and Danisha Christensen Wise and brother William "Chris" Christensen and Uncle James and Henrietta Laurey.
