Eva Cecelia Jones, 54, of North Charleston, SC, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2012.
Born August 11, 1957 in Sumter, SC, she was the daughter of William Joseph Nelson and Elnora Catherine Beard. Eva attended Goose Creek High School and enjoyed the outdoors especially gardening and boating.
Eva is survived by her son, Charles Nelson Jones (Kerrie) of Summerville, SC; mother and step-father Elnora C. and Joel E. Barrera of Goose Creek, SC; father, William J. Nelson of Summerville, SC; three sisters, Nettie Elnora Decell (Doug) of Hanahan, SC, E. Vanessa Boyd of Pawleys Island, SC, and Anna Marie Bowling (John) of North Charleston, SC; two brothers, William Joseph Nelson, Jr. of Goose Creek, SC and Michael Roy Nelson of Summerville, SC; two grandchildren, "CJ" Charles Nelson Jones, Jr., and "JJ" Joseph Norman Jones and her lifetime companion, Frederick Robert Dyer of North Charleston, SC; and many nieces and nephews.
The memorial service will be held at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at 4:00 pm.
