Eula Kathleen "Kitty" Spain

Eula Kathleen "Kitty" Spain, 71, of Johns Island, South Carolina, wife of Roy Spain, Jr., entered into eternal rest Saturday, February 13, 2016. Her Funeral Service will be held Monday, February 15,2016 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glen McConnell Parkway, at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.

Kitty was born December 3, 1944 in Cross, South Carolina, daughter of the late Troy A. Benton,Sr. and Ethel Clark Benton. She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Roy Spain, Jr. of Johns Island, SC; daughter, Karyn Denise Spain of Pelion,SC; three sons: Roy Spain, III., and Troy Dale Spain, both of Johns Island,SC, and Rodney Allan Spain of Summerville, SC; two sisters, Lana Smith and Gail Wheeler, both of Moncks Corner, SC; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Troy A. Benton, Jr.
